What we collect

Your name, phone number, email address and postcode, when you contact us or use a form on this site
Company name, number of lines and renewal dates, for business enquiries
Your current network, tariff and usage, when you ask about an upgrade or connection
Delivery addresses, where we are sending a SIM or handset
Records of connections, orders and payments made with us
Basic technical data about your visit to this website, such as device type and pages viewed

We do not ask for or store your network account password, your online account login, or your full payment card number.

Why we use it

To answer your enquiry and give you a quote
To set up and support the services you take through us
To arrange a connection or upgrade with the network you choose
To keep records we are legally required to keep, including for tax purposes
To handle complaints and returns

Our lawful bases are your consent, where you have given it on a form; performance of a contract, where you are buying a service from us; and our legitimate interest in running and improving the business.

Who we share it with

The mobile network you choose, in order to complete a connection or upgrade
Couriers, for delivery of SIMs and handsets
Payment providers, to take payment
Our accountants and professional advisers, where necessary
Regulators or law enforcement, where the law requires it

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we do not pass your details to third-party marketing companies.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a sale are deleted after 12 months. Records of connections, orders and payments are kept for six years, as required for tax purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we are using it, or withdraw consent you have given. Contact info@yapplmobile.shop and we will respond within one month.
